Bio

I am an applied scientist at Amazon. I earned my Ph.D. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Computer Science, advised by Prof. Suma Bhat. Prior to UIUC, I received my bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Research Interest

My interests lie broadly in the areas of natural language processing and machine learning, especially the processing of low-resource languages including non-compositional languages and medical languages. I have been working on data augmentation methods and data efficient methods for text generation, paraphrasing generation and text classification related to non-compositional languages and medical languages.
